By installing DaysAbroad or using daysabroad.app, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. The service

DaysAbroad ("we", "us") is an iOS application and accompanying website operated by Zebra Labs. The app tracks days spent in different countries based on your phone's location data. The website provides informational content about travel, tax residency, and visa rules.

2. Not advice

Nothing on this website or in the app constitutes legal, tax, or immigration advice. Content is for general informational purposes only. Rules change frequently and vary by individual circumstance. Always verify current rules with official government sources and consult a qualified professional before making decisions. DaysAbroad and its operators accept no liability for decisions made based on this content.

3. Subscriptions

Pro subscriptions are sold through Apple's App Store and governed by Apple's standard terms. Pricing, billing, refunds, and cancellations are handled by Apple. A 14-day free trial is offered on new Pro subscriptions; if you do nothing during the trial, the subscription begins billing.

4. Your data

You retain all rights to your travel data. We do not claim ownership. See the Privacy Policy for details on what we collect and don't collect.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app or website to break any law, infringe anyone's rights, reverse-engineer the app, or otherwise interfere with the service.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The app and website are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that day counts will be accurate in every circumstance — GPS can fail, calendars can differ, and edge cases (international waters, transit, border anomalies) can produce unexpected results. Always cross-check critical day counts manually.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DaysAbroad and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or website, including any tax, immigration, or legal consequences.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced via the website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
